BOOKING

It’s rarely too early to start booking your order.  You are welcome to contact me to inquire about availability or check the calendar here on my website or on my Instagram page. If you are looking for a quote, please fill out an order request form or for other questions about ordering please contact me by email.

Custom Orders: Orders must be placed at least 2 weeks prior to pick-up/delivery date. I prefer to book custom orders 1-2 months in advance, especially because it leaves more time for the design prep and communication with you, the customer.

 

SHIPPING

Unfortunately, I do not ship.  Due to cottage food laws here in Virginia, shipping is not an option for my business at this time.  Orders are available for pickup or delivery with a fee to Virginia Beach and surrounding areas.

 

PACKAGING

All orders will come with the cookies individually packaged in resealable size-appropriate cellophane bags at no charge unless otherwise requested.

Additional packaging such as brown bakery boxes with display windows, crinkle-cut shredded packing paper, and twine or ribbon, can be provided for an additional charge.  These are great if you are ordering a gift set or creating gift sets from a larger custom order.

 

DELIVERY/PICKING UP YOUR ORDER

Pickup of your order can be made in Pungo between 9 am and 5 pm.  If you have special circumstances that require an earlier or later pickup, please let me know.

I offer delivery for a $15 flat fee within 10 miles of the 23457 zip code.  For farther distances, the fee goes up according to toll fees and fuel cost, to be determined at the time of invoicing, after the date and time for delivery of your order has been agreed upon.  I appreciate your understanding as rising fuel prices continue to be a factor.

 

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full within 48 hours of booking and receipt of your invoice. If needed, for orders over $80 I will accept a 50% deposit with the balance being due 2 weeks before your event.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

*Full Refund for any orders canceled up until 1 week prior to the ‘Need by date’ listed on the invoice

*50% refund for orders canceled within 7 days of the event

*No refund will be provided with less than 24-hour notice of cancellation

INGREDIENTS

My standard cookie recipe is NOT allergy friendly. It includes eggs, wheat, and many of the ingredients used have been manufactured in facilities that also process peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, milk, soy, and wheat. A list of ingredients can be provided with any order or emailed to you before any order is placed. While I can make almond flour cookies and do have an allergen-friendly meringue powder that I can use for the royal icing, my cookies cannot be guaranteed allergen-free. Easy Crumb Easy Dough is a cottage bakery that operates out of a family home kitchen.  Although I do practice extreme cleanliness and employ extensive food handling and safety knowledge acquired over a decade in the service industry, my kitchen is not inspected by the department of health and food safety. All of my products are baked, decorated, stored, and delivered on shared equipment.

 

COVID

I know that it is extremely hard to control when you come in contact with a person who has COVID and taking care of yourself and your family is the top priority. If your order has not been baked, we can work together to reschedule. If your order has been baked/finalized, I will give you step-by-step instructions on how to safely freeze and defrost your products.

If I (the baker) test positive for COVID, you will receive a full refund and assistance in finding another local baker to fulfill your order.
